Adobe Reader (PDF) Format Info

PDF is a document exchange format. The entire newsletter is contained in one file.

You use a program called Adobe Reader to view and print PDF files. You can view and print the file in one of two ways. If you just left click on the Newsletter Issue you want to view on the Newsletter web page, the Adobe Reader opens the PDF document inside your web browser. There is an Adobe Reader toolbar located above the document, but below the normal Browser toolbar. On the Acrobat toolbar you should see a small printer icon. Click that to print the entire document. Don't use the printer icon that on the Browser's toolbar.

You can also download the PDF document to your PC. To do this on a PC, RIGHT click on the Newsletter Issue you want to view on the Newsletter web page. You will see a small menu. Click the "Save Target As..." (if your browser is Internet Explorer), or "Save Link As..." (if your browser is Netscape) menu item. A file requestor comes up asking where you want to save the file. Enter a file name and location (remember where it was! -). Once it has been saved, you can double click on the file in Windows Explorer, and the Adobe Reader will open up with the newsletter file in it. The reader has a toolbar at the top, with one of the items being a print icon.
