Once the glass was sealed, I installed the gasket. I
used a bit of Vulcum on the edge to keep it in place. After that, I used my
handy-dandy single edged razor blade to clean up any Vulcum that oozed out of
the edge of the window frame. This works MUCH better than trying to wipe the
excess Vulcum with a rag, as that method is extremely messy. That was followed up by wiping the entire window
with a rag that had been dampened with mineral spirits, to remove any remaining
traces of the Vulcum.
