UPDATE: I was recently contacted by a person suggesting that I install a 3 Amp Slo Blow fuse inline with the positive 12 volt lead before each light. This protects against the possible overheating that could occur should the electronics in the fluorescent lamp fail. Sounds like a good idea, seing as how the lamp holder and cabinet where it is mounted are made of plastic, and overheating there would be a "bad" thing.
