Instead of using the screws that came with the vent, I
used stainless steel screws. I drilled small pilot holes for each screw (16 per
vent). The end farthest away from any support was a bit tricky to get the screws
started. Once it is screwed down, you are supposed to seal the edges and screw
heads with silicone. I used Vulcum.
